BUILD COMMUNITY

Berkshire – Sheboygan Falls is a unique renovation of the former Sheboygan Falls Middle School into beautiful apartment homes for independent seniors. Many of our residents will have walked these halls as aspiring students. With the oldest portion of the school dating back to 1928, the historic renovation includes an authentic remodeling that includes large historic windows, wide corridors and common gathering spaces. Living in a Berkshire Community is an engaging, inclusive experience. Enjoy coffee in our community lounge, share stories and catch up on the latest community news. Participate in one of our many clubs and interest groups. Maybe start one yourself! How and when you participate is up to you!

ALIVE with

ACTIVITY

What does it mean to thrive in your golden years? Can you do it alone? The Rush Alzheimer’s Disease Center in Chicago completed a study showing that seniors with high levels of social activity have about half the rate of cognitive decline as those with low levels of social activity. The prescription? Physical exercise, coupled with deep social connections and a commitment to taking care of one another. Berkshire promotes an active, engaged environment where residents can age not just gracefully, but with vitality.

COMMUNITY

connections

In the spring of 1837, Marcy and Silas Stedman platted the land that was to become Sheboygan Falls in 1850. Over the next decades, numerous business sprang up, creating a lively downtown serving the surrounding community including such landmarks as the Wisconsin Hotel and the Falls Mercantile Company. Today, Downtown Sheboygan Falls is a thriving center of shopping, dining and entertainment – all just blocks from the Berkshire.

Shop at Evans General Store or enjoy coffee with friends at the Bread & Bean Eatery. Living within walking distance of downtown is our greatest amenity! Get out and enjoy your neighborhood and stay healthy while doing it!
